          Above left is BILL E. BECK's 1968 Trident photo. We have no other information on him. BOB CARRASCO (middle) was on the staff of the creative writing magazine The Undertow, in 1968. DANIEL (DAN) CLARK (right) was Editor-in-Chief of the 1968 Trident yearbook and also in these groups: the Publications Committee, the Public Affairs Forum, and the First Veterans Club. 

          DIANE COOPER (above left) was a Miss CNC contestant in 1968. All we have for MIKE DAVIS (middle) is his 1968 Trident portrait. CHARLES DINWIDDIE worked with the student newspaper the Captain’s Log (possibly as Editor) and was also on the Publications Committee.

          All we have for DANNY EDGERTON (left) is his 1968 Trident picture. PATRICIA ANN EDMONDSON is the only Spring 1968 AA degree recipient not yet located. Please help us find these 1968 Class members. Thank you!

          Above left is LOUISE ELLIS's 1968 Trident photo. Louise was Layout Editor for the1968 Trident and a member of the Public Affairs Forum. We have no information on BARRY FOX (middle) other than this photo. PATRICIA (PAT) HARRIS (right) was one of the contestants for Miss CNC in 1968.

          SELMA HUNLEY was a member of CNC's first Cheerleading Squad (1967-68). The group photo of this squad is on the cover of Memories of Christopher Newport College: The First Decade and also in Coach Bev Vaughan's article about the beginning of the men's basketball program. We have no information about PEGGY JARVIS (middle) and JUDY LORRAYNE JONES (right) other than these Trident photos.

          ANNETTE LANE was a member of CNC's Women’s Recreation Association (WRA) its first year (1967 -68). SHAWN McALEA was a member of Circle K that same year. Please help us locate these 1968 Class members. Thank you!

          Pictured above left is JOAN MEREDITH, who was on the staff of the students' literary magazine, The Undertow, in 1968 and possibly a sophomore then. We have no information on CANDACE J. (CANDY) MIDKIFF (middle) other than this yearbook photo as a sophomore. BETTY NEWMAN (right) was one of the Miss CNC contestants in 1968 and might have been a sophomore then.

           We have no information on JIM PETTIT (left) except this sophomore photo in the Trident. JOSEPH CHARLES (JOE) PHILLIPS (middle) was in the CNC Choir in 1968 and also shown as a sophomore.  NICKI ROBINS  (right) was identified as a freshman. However, she was also in 1968 the Editor of The Undertow, a Miss CNC contestant, and on the Publications Committee--so possibly she was a sophomore then.

          ED SHELTON (left) is identified as a sophomore in this photo. We have no additional information about him. He might or might not be related to KENNY SHELTON (right block), for whom we have no photo and no information. Was he a freshman? sophomore? Someone gave us this name.

          We have no information on KEVIN SMITH (left) other than this sophomore photo in the Trident. SANDY STEWART (middle) was on the first Cheerleading Squad (1967-68) and could have been a freshman or sophomore that year. STEPHEN DOUGLAS (STEVE) STREKER (right) was Vice President of the Newman Club in 1967-68 so might have been a sophomore.

          ROSALIE TRAHAN (later DOYLE) was pictured (left) as a sophomore in the 1968 Trident. JIM WALSH (middle) was in the first Veterans Club (1967-68) and could have been a freshman or a sophomore. CAROLYN WATSON (right) was listed as a sophomore that year and has recently located us!

           These last two students could have been freshmen or sophomores in the 1967-68 academic year. PHILIP WELDON (left) was pictured on the staff of The Undertow, the students' literary magazine. We have no photo of TABE (Toby?) WOLLARD , but he was listed as Secretary of the first Veterans Club in the 1968 Trident write-up about that club.
